I’ve noticed the selection has been limited recently. It feels like it’s the same few items every time I check, and I couldn’t find about half the things I went in looking for, even basic stuff I expected to be there...
"Bakery stuff was kind of a letdown"
I grabbed a few bakery items because I was in the mood for something fresh and flaky, especially the croissants, but they didn’t really hit that mark. The croissants were dry, and the bread had that slightly hard feel like it had been out for a while. The flavor wasn’t terrible or anything, and the delivery was totally fine, so it’s not like the whole order was a disaster. But for the price, I expected the bakery items to feel a lot fresher. It just made me think they need to keep a closer eye on the quality before sending stuff out.

"Refund took longer than I expected"
I’m not sure if I missed something in the return process, but it felt confusing to me. The refund also took way longer than I thought it would. I contacted customer support a few times, but they mostly just told me to keep waiting, which didn’t help much.

I’m not ordering again. They swapped items without giving me any kind of warning, and when I tried to figure out who was responsible, it felt like nobody actually owned the issue. The store points one way, the delivery side points another, and I’m just left with stuff I didn’t want

"Felt Misled About the Chilled Delivery"
I ordered because I expected the cold items to actually arrive cold, but the ice cream showed up soft and already kind of warm. It felt misleading to call it chilled when it clearly wasn’t kept that way. I don’t think I’ll be ordering cold stuff again.

I ordered a few things and the delivery ended up taking way longer than it should have. I get that delays happen, but it’s common sense to at least keep customers updated instead of leaving them to keep checking on their own. The food was fine once it arrived, but waiting that long was frustrating

The discounts are helpful when they actually work, but I’ve had a few offers not apply at checkout even though they looked valid. It’s a bit annoying, and it feels like the promo details could be made clearer upfront

The prices felt high to me (higher than I expected, anyway). I noticed a few items were noticeably more expensive than what I’ve seen at other shops, and it adds up fast. I was planning to order more, but I just couldn’t really justify the total. It kind of feels like you’re paying extra without a clear reason.
"They usually have what I need"
I really appreciate that most of the things I’m looking for are usually in stock, even the imported items. It just makes weekly shopping easier and saves me from having to run around or check a bunch of other places. it feels like the decent thing for a store to do, keep the basics available and make ordering simple for people. They’ve been reliable for me.

I ended up waiting for hours with no update at all. This has happened before, and it’s getting ridiculous. A simple heads-up would’ve made it a lot less frustrating.

I was hoping to find a better variety of imported items, but a lot of the things I wanted were either missing or out of stock, which was a bit disappointing. The prices felt high too, especially considering the selection wasn’t that big. Not the worst experience, but yeah, I expected a little more.

"Really happy with the meat and chicken"
I’ve ordered the beef cubes and chicken breasts from Gourmet Egypt a few times now and they’ve been really good every time, the meat arrives fresh, there’s none of that strange smell you sometimes get from other places, the chicken cooks nicely without releasing loads of water, and even though the prices aren’t exactly the cheapest, I feel like the quality makes it worth it. I’ll definitely keep ordering from them.

I usually end up ordering from Gourmet Egypt when I’m looking for organic stuff. Not all the time, just when I don’t feel like hunting around. They do have a decent range compared to most places here.
Organic eggs, vegetables, pantry things, even a few snacks. Found more than I expected, honestly. Some items are out of stock sometimes, which is annoying, but still easier than going from shop to shop.
Delivery was okay, no drama. Everything arrived fresh. I like that I can just open the organic section, add what I need, and get most of it in one order

"Some mix-ups with my grocery order"
My order did show up on time, which was nice, but I’m not totally sure what happened because two of the items were wrong and one thing was missing altogether. Support helped fix part of it, so that was something, but it was still frustrating for a grocery order
